Daily Schedule

Although there is no "typical" day at HRCDCC, below is the schedule that we generally follow. Teachers incorporate walks, trips to the park, post office, library, farmer’s market and many other locations depending on the theme for the week. Daily planned activities are provided to meet the social, emotional, physical, and educational developmental needs of the children enrolled in the center. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, rest time, supervised playtime, and educational field trips are included in the program.

The daily schedule is subject to change due to field trips or special visitors.

  • 6:30am - Center Opens (All children are dropped off in room 7, 2nd level of Muhlenberg Lutheran Church)

  • 7:30am - All classrooms are open

  • 8:30-9:00am - Breakfast in the MAC (children must be at daycare by 8:45 to be provided breakfast)

  • 9:15-10:15am - Rooms 6 and 8 have outside play time

  • 10:30-11:30am - Rooms 2, 3, 7 & 10 have outside play time

  • 11:30am - Restroom/Wash hands/Prepare for lunch for younger group

  • 11:45am-12:15pm - Lunch for rooms 2, 3, 7, & 10

  • 12:15-12:45pm - Lunch for rooms 6 & 8

  • 1:00pm - Rooms 2, 3, 7, & 10 go down for nap

  • 1:30pm - All children are down for nap

  • 3:00pm - Snack Time

  • 3:30-4:30pm - Rooms 6 & 8 outside play time

  • 4:30-5:30pm - Rooms 2, 3, 7, & 10 have outside play time

  • 4:30-6:00pm - Children in rooms 6 & 8 will combine in room 7

  • 5:30-6:00pm - All children combine in room 7

  • 6:00pm - Center Closes

Sliding Fee Scale

Tuition is based on a sliding fee scale according to family gross income. Please refer to the HRCDCC Handbook  for additional information. Rates below are effective August 20, 2018.

Ages 2-5 years old during the school year; Ages 2-12 years old during the summer.

A: Our hours of operation are Mon - Fri from 6:30am to 6pm.  Please see the Daily Schedule for more information.

Q: Do you provide food for my child?
